Each Zodia KM Tour US Spec Wedge

The US Spec Model features the

Feel,
feedback and workability of a
forged blade.
Miura's forging techniques
rearrange the molecular
structure of the mild steel in a
pattern that is uniform
throughout the hitting area of
the club in a manner that is
unique to his clubs. This
tightness in the grain structure
of the metal is what gives Miura
made clubs the controlled, soft
feel that other manufacturers
cannot achieve. Miura also uses
a proprietary “spin welding”
process to produce the
industries’ most consistent
hosel. This unique procedure
ensures that the bore depths and
hosel heights are identical on
every Miura made head and the
shaft of every club will be
perfectly centered. |

EIDOLON V-SOLE wedges
offer the most advanced
approach to scoring that
the game has ever seen.
Patented V-SOLE
technology utilizes two
bounce angles in each
wedge to create
unmatched shotmaking
versatility.
CNC-milled faces and
scoring for absolute
precision.
Rifle Spinner shaft and
your choice of grips for
improved feel and
performance.
All our heads are
precision cast of mild
8620 carbon steel. It's
been the favored
material for wedges for
two decades because it
delivers great feel.
Then we computer-mill
the faces to exact
flatness (yes, it's very
important on a wedge),
and machine the scoring
lines so they are
perfect, too. Finally,
the head is satin
polished to prevent
glare and plated --
first with two layers of
nickel for a soft
surface feel, and then
chrome so that it won't
rust.

And
while others simply put
a stiff iron shaft in
their wedges, and give
you one flex option, we
use the highly acclaimed
Rifle Spinner wedge
shaft from Precision.
It's been specially
designed for wedges, and
produces more spin,
softer feel and better
trajectory control than
any other shaft. It also
costs more, but we
already talked about
that. And it's available
in Regular or Firm
flexes to match your
game.
While all wedges feature
a bounce in their sole,
the variations are
practically endless.
Some have aggressive
bounces so that they
will perform better from
sand and fluffy lies.
Others have more
conservative bounce
angles, which makes them
play well from tight
lies. Some even claim to
have "zero" bounce, for
what reason we can't
even imagine. [By
definition, if it
doesn't have some
bounce, how can it be a
"wedge"? Beats us.
We once heard a great
player say "a wedge's
heart is in its sole",
so look closely at ours.
EIDOLON V-SOLE wedges
are built on patented
sole technology that
allows the use of TWO
bounce angles on each
wedge. The result is
that you get the maximum
amount of versatility
when you face a
difficult shot.
This technology
completely re-invents
the way wedges should be
made. We call it V-SOLE
(because it looks like a
V!). V also stands for
versatility - the one
thing your wedges have
to deliver. |
